A re-imagining of the 15th century morality play from Branden Jacobs-Jenkins ("An Octoroon").
In Obie Award winner and MacArthur “Genius” Grant recipient Branden Jacobs-Jenkins's re-imagining of the 15th-century play "Everyman," titled "Everybody," the lead role is randomly assigned each night from a small cast of actors by a live lottery live on stage. "Everybody" is a happy and free person, but when Death comes calling, Everybody must go on the journey of a lifetime. Jacobs-Jenkins remixes the archetypal medieval morality play into an explosive experimental and witty play.
This production features STC Affiliated Artist Nancy Robinette as Death.
