A musical revue that shines a spotlight on artistry from the Afro-Peruvian community.

Siblings Victoria and Nicomedes Santa Cruz led a resurgence of Afro-Peruvian arts in the 1960s, using their expertise as poets, musicians, dancers, choreographers, and historians. Their efforts to reinvigorate forgotten genres of Afro-Peruvian culture provided a powerful moment in history & helped to combat marginalization.
