A solo show about the history and ancestry of Muscogee leader and activist Ella Jean Hill.
This deeply personal account of one family -- written by Hill's daughter-in-law -- traces Hill's family history back to the Trail of Tears and lands at her grandfather's allotment in Oklahoma. The play weaves together her own story and that of her family with the impact of a legacy of broken promises between nations. "On The Far End" is a reference to the landmark 2020 Supreme Court case that upheld the sovereignty of the Muscogee territories.
