See it if You have kids who are fans of the movie. The singers were great, we enjoyed the music. The magic carpet was my favorite part.

Don't see it if choreography, plot, or character development is important to you. I thought they could have used puppets for the animals (Abu, Raja, Iago).

See it if You want an easy, mindless day of classic family entertainment.

Don't see it if You want a more unique evening of theatre.

See it if You have kids with you and like solid, family-friendly entertainment

See it if A reasonably entertaining adaptation, even if it feels padded at points. James Monroe Iglehart's Genie was the undisputed highlight.

See it if you want to entertain pre-teens.

See it if You love Disney. It really is a fun time and the Genie is one of the best roles on Broadway either currently or ever and the music is great.

Don't see it if You expect the same level as other Disney shows. This show was underwhelming. The effects underwhelmed and the new stuff felt forced.

See it if You like Disney musicals and/or are looking to see a cute, non-thought provoking story with a happy ending.
