Great singing, Great acting, Exquisite, Heart-breaking, Absorbing

See it if Everyone knows someone who went through something like this. It's shattering, and well worth seeing. Music is superb, acting too.

Don't see it if This is not a happy show, but it's an adult piece. Your heart will be heavy when you leave, but this is about life--don't miss it.

Great singing, Great acting, Entertaining, Enchanting, Absorbing

See it if you want to see a bold and intelligently crafted musical drama with some of the best performances on Broadway right now.

Don't see it if you want a light affair. This is some pretty heavy stuff.

Ambitious, Romantic, Intense, Masterful, Exquisite

See it if You love and care for the musical theatre as a real American artform.

Don't see it if You want “laffs and lappy”, or if you’re profoundly triggered by family stories of addiction and don’t feel comfortable facing that onstage. Read more

See it if you want to see two of the greatest musical theatre talents of our time at the top of their game. They are just magnificent in this show.

Don't see it if it sounds too depressing. It is rather. And yes, it is mostly sung and has few memorable tunes. But it is just beautiful musically.
