In the crumbling glamour of the theater, the shadows of their younger selves remind them of the complicated steps they've danced - both on the stage and throughout their lives.
See it if you love Sondheim. It's a gift to hear the songs in context. A touching play about life choices. Some grand spectacle, too.
Don't see it if you want perfect casting. BPeters was a disappointment. She couldn't sing the role and I found her acting stiff. Lots of other talent, tho.
See it if Sondheim a his best. Wonderful music and talent. Real human emotions, motives and feelings in the way that only Sondheim can reveal them.

See it if 1 of my favorite things I've seen in the last 10 years. Maxwell blew me away. The whole cast - brilliant. The show - amazing. Saw it 2x.
