A new musical about the New York Dream, with both new music and the classic songs of Alicia Keys.

Within a small midtown apartment, Ali, a 17-year-old yearning for the New York dream, faces her mother's protective nature. Love for a gifted drummer compels them to confront the realities of race, defiance, and maturation. Ali feels trapped until a neighbor's piano playing unlocks an unforeseen friendship and a transformative path ahead.

Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys and Pulitzer Prize finalist playwright Kristoffer Diaz bring their exhilarating coming-of-age musical to New York in a production choreographed by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown and directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif.
