See it if I can not give this show more praise. It is visceral, it is raw, it is beautiful, and it amazingly healing.

Don't see it if Covers a wide berth of trauma.

See it if You want to see a musical trying very hard to tackle every social issue of the moment and if you absolutely love the album.

Don't see it if You don’t want to be beaten into submission by heavy-handed addressing of social issues.

See it if Beautifully directed and so current. I was incredibly moved on so many levels. The story, the songs, the characters and staging. Stunning.

Don't see it if You're a monster. This is the best show I've seen for years. I've just booked for the third time. I'm shocked by some of the reviews on here

See it if because you'll know the Alanis Morrisette music, but will be blown away by the creativity of weaving a story from the lyrics. Brilliant.

Don't see it if You like typical Jukebox musicals. This is RENT and DEAR EVAN HANSEN in a blender. Swallow it down!

See it if you're woke, into deeply affecting music and performances, don't mind seeing multiple themes being addressed at once (it's life in 2019+!)

See it if you want to have an "interesting" book, addressing current issues and family drama.

See it if you like relevant expressions of family dysfunction set to the music of Alanis Morrisette.

See it if if you want to see myriad contemporary issues dealt with in a substantive, sensitive way with humor, depth, and intensity. Deft yet searing!

Don't see it if you're overwhelmed by a show that touches on myriad issues. It's a bit of a whirlwind, intense like the original album. Raw, pure, gorgeous.

Also I was in high school in the 90s, and am now a college professor. This beautifully-staged show elicits nostalgia for me, and also speaks beautifully and piercingly to the lives my students are living now. I was entranced from the first moment. The beautiful dancers - who I thought of as a Greek chorus throughout - are utterly breathtaking. They embody and personify all the complex, raw, gripping, and untidy emotions that accompany the attempt to navigate a tumultuous reality. There are four or five standout scenes that I will not mention here--I'll simply say that because I loved the entire performance, it blew my mind that some scenes could be so much more captivating than the rest. That is, the level of engagement and enjoyment was so high to begin with that it astonished me to be vaulted to an even higher level of enjoyment. Yet I was, again and again. Don't see it if There’s no reason not to see this ~ don’t walk ~ RUN to the Broadburst and see this show; no matter who you are and what your life is like!

See it if You’re an Alanis fan. If you love an amazing quality musical. You don’t mind crying.

Don't see it if You’re not into shows that explore current social issues. If you are expecting original music.

Also This show is absolutely incredible. I cannot stop thinking about it. I mean there was a mid show standing ovation for a song. That has never happened in the 20 years I’ve been seeing theater. That’s how incredible it is. I will say I gave it 96 over 100 because sometimes it does feel a little heavy with plot lines but the writing is done so well that you always get reeled back in. See it if Loved the staging, the book by Diablo Cody is timely and excellent, and the acting wonderful. The music, is very powerful.

Don't see it if If you are not a fan of Alanis's music.

See it if You have even a little 90’s nostalgia but more importantly, if you are not afraid of hard, relevant topics.

Don't see it if You like your shows with a little nuance that are not all up in your face.

See it if If you are a fan of musicals such as Dear Evan Hansen and Next To Normal. I would definitely recommend seeing Jagged Little Pill.

See it if You're over 14 or 15. We brought my 15 yo daughter, and I thought she handled the content well. It does get very heavy and tense in scenes
