See it if This joyful musical emerged from a darling little British film which no one saw, except me and few pals, and found a home on Broadway.

Don't see it if Cyndi Lauper wrote some great and beautiful songs for the show while Harvey Fierstein added more heart and soul to the story.

See it if you want a feel good fun time with an entertaining score

See it if I 1st saw this show TV-star Wayne as the feisty cross-dressing "Lola." but recently saw the return of Billy Porter in his Tony-winning role!

Don't see it if Prudes may not like their men in women's clothes, but the amazing costumes in this show could change your mind. Pity for the colorblind-WOW!

Also Yes, as entertaining a performer as "Let's Make A Deal" emcee Wayne Brady is, his overall performance could not hold a candle to Billy Porter who is not only PERFECT comedically & vocally but channels Tina Turner into his performance too. There really is no comparison which is why I am telling you to RUN (don't Walk) to the Hirschfeld theater boxoffice on 45th st (west of 8th av) and buy your tix now to see Billy Porter in the role he was born to play along with his original co-star Stark Sands (as Charlie) and a star-making performance by Delaney Westfall (as Lauren). The male dance troupe known as Lola's Angels are so frickin talented dancing in hi-heels that you'll begin to doubt they were ever "men" at hall but lifelong chorusgirls!

See it if you love musicals with great music, dancing, staging - BROADWAY. A great show to see when you are coming to NYC from out of town.

Don't see it if you don't like beautiful drag queens because you obviously don't know how to have fun.

See it if you want to see last year's model of a musical with drag as the route to tolerance. WBrady's a joy. Lauper's score'll make u shake yr booty.

Don't see it if kink or clarity is desired. Is Lola gay? Fierstein's book confuses the issue. It's all ready to wear. But stitched w care & staged w craft.

See it if You want a musical that takes more risk in theme than production. Solid entertainment. Much better costumes than music. Mingo Jr standout.

Don't see it if You're looking to be really challenged. Uneven writing. Felt like some verses were missing. Predictable. Occasional lazy staging. Still fun.

See it if you like a good score. The music is catchy, the story is well done, and the acting is great.

Don't see it if men in dresses bothers you. Otherwise, you'll love the show!

See it if you love a play based on biographical bits & a show with opportunities for diversity + a musical where you feel you MUST BUY the CAST ALBUM

Don't see it if drag queens shock you or if you like a script where conflicts need quite a bit more umphh to resolve the problem
