The final work in American playwright August Wilson's 10-play Pittsburgh Cycle is Radio Golf, set in 1997. Obie Award-winner and frequent interpreter of Mr. Wilson's work, Brandon J. Dirden directs! In this compelling work, a real estate developer named Harmond Wilks sets his sights on becoming the first Black mayor of Pittsburgh. Big corporations are ready to move in, but in order for that to happen, a house—one that belongs to Wilson's legendary Aunt Ester—must be torn down. Wilks and his city are thrust into a battle of the past and the future.
