See it if Assuming Broadway-bound, deservingly so.The voices, the set, the story; PMP knocks it out of the park. Practically perfect. The entire cast!
Don't see it if On surface, book sets out to justify illegal actions of aggression … but this is based on a true story and needs to be told as is.
See it if an amazing new musical with a new book and good music and a meaningful story.

See it if want an original, new musical abt 2 Black outlaw sisters passing as white in TX in 1890s w/ varied, good score, great ensemble performances!
Don't see it if triggered by guns, the schlep to NJ is too annoying; 2.5 hrs felt a little long & could be tightened, but overall v well done & rec seeing!
See it if you want to see a new musical with outstanding singing and a very good score.

See it if You want to see a new, highly original, potentially Broadway-bound musical. There’s a lot to like about this show (especially the music!).
Don't see it if You dislike when a potentially great musical is weighed down by a tedious book. (But, with some changes, this has a lot of potential!)
See it if You admire original musicals with strong performances. Beowulf Boritt’s set design is a marvel to behold.
