See it if you like to see what an traditional 1 ring circus was like. Good circus acts especially the strong man. Great for the kids.
Don't see it if you don't like the circus or don't like an audience with lots of small children. This is the New Victory Theater. My audience behaved well.
See it if You love old school circus and fabulous performers
Don't see it if You are a crotchety grouch who dislikes silliness
CRITIC’S PICK. "In ‘42 FT,’ a Circus Shrunk to Fit" At the new Cirque Mechanics show, the revolving ring, rotating ladders and spinning swings might not thrill, but the performers do."
4/5 Stars. "This 'Menagerie of Mechanical Marvels' is a lovely little circus show mixing handsome visuals, eccentric machinery, flavorful music, and old-school circus feats."
"Cirque Mechanics will have you spellbound… Although the entire twelve-person cast is fantastic, the MVP is Battulga Battogtokh as the Strong Man. The muscled Mongolian, shimmering with effort, juggles bowling balls and a giant log and balances multiple people off his swinging arms."
"The 'mechanical marvels' announced in the subtitle of 42 FT may not quite qualify as a "menagerie," but its human marvels, flying, flipping, and flexing with impeccable flair, will flutter your heart, whether you're under five or over fifty."
