A new two-performer feminist dark comedy about the realities of being a black femme in America.

Written by Jairis Carter and Mareshah Dupree, Abortion Weekend is a darkly funny, honest, and heartfelt representation of the young, gifted, and black femme experience in America today. Adulthood hits preacher’s daughter Dazia full force as she unexpectedly gets pregnant the summer ahead of her senior year of college. Her best friend Ayanna takes it upon herself to plan a wild and crazy “Abortion Weekend” in order to terminate the pregnancy.

See it if you like intimate shows that have a lot to saw. The acting was really fantastic!

Don't see it if you want something completely polished. This is straight from a Fringe production, and I hope to see it continue to get stronger!
