About the Show

A play about the life of Broadway performers in the tumult of 1980s New York City.

In the underground quick change room of a Broadway theatre in the mid 1980s, the girls of the ensemble are in conflict with their dressers. Will the new dresser, with her own tragic past and uncertain future, be able to navigate this minefield?

A funny, nostalgic behind-the-scenes look at a pivotal period in the history of Broadway where women’s issues and the AIDS crisis play out through the everyday lives of Equity performers and union dressers.

See it if a slice of backstage life of the Chorus and their dressers. Like lots of short scenes with many characters. and great use of a small space

Don't see it if want depth. play does touch on some serious subjects but not much depth. perhaps, less story lines would have allowed it.
