About the Show

Inspired by "Romeo & Juliet," this dance theater piece is about a community divided by a wall.

With a contemporary soundtrack and a cast of 12 dancers, Beyond Babel explores the division of families, friends, and community, when authorities build a wall between them.

Created by Keone & Mari Madrid and Hideaway Circus, the set features large crochet backdrops, art installations, and yarn-based props created by artist London Kaye.
