A valiant effort that didn't really work out

See it if You want to see everything Shakespeare, or you are interested in seeing some of the promising actors.

Don't see it if You only want to see great Shakespeare - kudos for them taking on Cymbeline, but this didn't really engage me. Read more

Ambitious, Confusing, Disappointing

See it if you love Shakespeare and enjoy a modern take of his favorite themes. There are 17 cast members, all talented.

Don't see it if you are tired of different Shakerspearian plays. Read more

Uneven, Entertaining, Inaudible, Funny, Well intended

See it if You're up for a well intended but uneven and loosely directed Las Vegas update of this lesser-known Shakespeare.

Don't see it if You want a polished production, classically trained actors, or expect that a large cast of actors might be trained to project their voices. Read more

Disappointing, Ambitious

See it if You want to see condensed version of a Shakespeare classic with an attempt at a contemporary setting.

Don't see it if If you severely disappointed when a "modern" setting seems irrelevant to the show. Uneven acting is like fingernails on a blackboard to you

Disappointing, Amateurish, " cheap ", Insipid

See it if You might like the idea to see an updated production of Cymbeline even if it has a very amateurish feeling and the acting is uneven at best.

Don't see it if if you like your Shakespeare the old good fashioned way. Cymbeline is not exactly easy to follow and this production doesn't help at all. Read more

Disappointing

See it if You enjoy Shakespeare so much that you can overlook terrible acting and very cheap barebones sets

Don't see it if You believe (like me) that high school-caliber plays belong on a high school stage, not on an off-Broadway stage.
