Dostoevsky's 'Crime and Punishment,' often hailed as the greatest crime story ever written, unfolds a gripping tale of murder, motive, and redemption. In this 19th-century narrative, Raskolnikov, a character akin to a Tony Soprano of his time, deludes himself into believing he's above the law, entitled to decide who deserves life and death. However, his convictions are tested when he encounters Inspector Porfiry, a mastermind of mind games. As the increasingly deranged Raskolnikov faces relentless pursuit, the story compresses all its tension and pathos into a powerful 90-minute theatrical adaptation—a faithful yet fresh presentation of the original, exploring the depths of the human soul.

See it if If you want an incredibly acted show. All three were excellent. Radio a standout.

Don't see it if Limited edition. Need to think and watch.

Josh Tyson as Raskolnikov plays the character for the entire show and gives a solid performance. The other two actors are John Lenartz as Inspector Porfiry Petrovich and other male characters, and Elise Stone as Sonia and other female characters. This group of actors solidly inhabit the key characters and each of the other characters they play.
