A new play about the unexpected friendship between two teenagers, Edie and Kyle.
Thirteen-year-old Edie is the daughter of a single mom and the granddaughter of an ailing grandfather. She is singularly focused on saving the birds, though her methods are bold, unorthodox, occasionally illegal, and often futile. She encounters a new and unexpected distraction in Kyle, a popular baseball player. When he speaks to Edie for more than 30 seconds, she starts to wonder if there is more to life than crashing town council meetings and passing out homemade buttons.
