Flawed adaption, Great story, Absorbing, Relevant

See it if you can bypass the flawed English, "modern" translation & focus on the very relevant, important themes of power, oppression, human rights

Don't see it if you'd be bothered or distracted by cringey 20th century idioms/idiosyncrasies in this "translation" of a 1612 Spanish language play Read more

Resonant, Relevant, Intelligent, Absorbing

See it if Interesting 400 year old play depicting a woman's revolt against a corrupt society at the wonderful Polonsky Center in Brooklyn.

Don't see it if Can be slow at times but builds to quite a finale. Kept my interest and made for a interesting experience at the theater.
