Banal, Cliched, Disappointing, Great Staging, Indulgent

See it if If you liked Mccain when he was a Senator. Plot is so so. Definitely miss this one.

Don't see it if If taking cheap shots at the former president bothers you. "Singing John" as he was know in POW camp was not who people think he was.

Absorbing, Dizzying, Edgy, Funny, Quirky

See it if The often hilarious political musical about power, rivalry, legacy, and American values is mostly well performed on a patriotic stage.

Don't see it if If u go w/ a political agenda,u may find the setting (Trump's brain)&some songs irreverent&unfunny but if u can take it as a light satire* Read more

Broad Humor, Quirky, Raunchy, Unfocused

See it if you like a lively political musical w/o much focus. Played for (often cheap) laughs. Mostly solid perfs. Mostly fun songs. Hardworking cast.

Don't see it if you want a soph'ed political statement...or good pacing (frenetic at times, draggy in the muddle of the middle). Still, an audience pleaser.

Clever, Great Writing, Intelligent, Quirky, Resonant

See it if you like truly original musicals off Broadway. Catchy songs, clever script, and great performances.

Don't see it if you don't like experimental musicals. This one goes for it.

Confusing, Funny, Great Singing

See it if into a creative take on our politics; great performers, funny gags, shiniest set ever at Soho Playhouse...

Don't see it if well... the middle drags as the narrative feels aimless, but some clever idea is never far.

Clever, Dizzying, Edgy, Funny, Quirky

See it if you like political comedy where both sides are made fun of - there are some good comic moments here. Great staging for off Broadway.

Don't see it if you want strong songs & voices or don't like making fun of people, alive or dead. Projected voice was overly loud and distorted @1st preview

See it if you enjoy niche political pieces which take joy in causing laughter of Trump dislikers

Don't see it if I believe it is obvious, I fear.

See it if You like off-Broadway comedies as a genre and you don’t mind laughing at yourself and your political party (on both sides!)

Don't see it if You’re looking for something as big as the stuff in Times Square— very big and serious and polished to a tee through the years.
