Clever, Disappointing, Great acting, Entertaining, Indulgent

See it if you want to see great acting and a show from a writer who shows a talent for dialogue and timing.

Don't see it if you want great depth in your characters with some maturity

82
Clever, Raunchy, Intelligent, Funny, Refreshing

See it if you like-teen flicks-coming of age stories-clever dialogue-pays that balance comedic and dramatic facets well-promising new playwrights

Don't see it if you don't like-blue comedy-minimal set design-dark humor

Funny, Edgy, Promising, Has potential

See it if you're into edgy 2016 dialogue between teenage girls, which is always entertaining (and occasionally feels truthful!)

Don't see it if you're expecting anything groundbreaking.

Entertaining, Edgy, Great writing

See it if You are aware that high school females have friendships and desires but were not aware how they balance these things in a healthy way

Don't see it if You're afraid your teenage daughter is doing these things....just kidding, that attitude won't get you anywhere

Snarky, Horny, Edgy, Relevent, Longer than necessary

See it if youre in high school or parents of high schoolers. This play's a window into the teenaged world. Kinda sad.

Don't see it if you want good lighting design. One actress was on her mark, nearly center stage, but in the dark thru much of a major scene. So distracting.

Theatre is Easy
August 16th, 2016

"'Girls Will Be Girls' is littered with funny lines. The show is extremely quotable and has some wonderful comedic moments. But Glickman includes some serious themes with the humor too, most of which surrounds sex and sexuality...Luckily there are some new ideas here that I haven't seen done before. It took a few scenes before the actors settled into their performance rhythm to share these ideas with us, but once they did it was fairly smooth sailing."
