About the Show

A play by Bertold Brecht about how to be a good person and create a world that maintains goodness.

In this comic and complex play, one of Brecht’s most entertaining characters, Shen Tei, the good-hearted, penniless, cross-dressing prostitute, is forced to disguise herself as a savvy businessman named Shui Ta to master the ruthlessness necessary to be a “good person” in a cruel world of limited resources.

See it if you like Brecht, you want committed acting, you want a somewhat interesting set, story,you love plays with live music, you like slower shows

Don't see it if you hate slower paced theatre, you are easily bored, you want something to keep you at the edge of your seat, you want a clear cut story

Dated, Insipid, Confusing, Excruciating, Slow

See it if An avant-garde staging of a classic.

Don't see it if Ridiculous. Just so annoying. I walked out.
