Romantic, Great singing

See it if You love good singing and can forgive a mediocre book.

Don't see it if Want depth and strong connections to the source material

Great staging, Raunchy, Fluffy, Great acting, Great singing

See it if The performers were amazing. The ensemble played so many characters but pulled them all off. Singing was full and great with only 5 actors.

Don't see it if You need more plot. Some of the songs didn't seem to have much point or drive the plot forward. It was a shame because the actors were great

Romantic, For ireland devotees, For joyce fans, Imperfect but worth seeing, Great singing

See it if You want to see Whitney Bashor & Matt Bogart in excellent performances; you enjoy ballads & Joycean language; you don't expect a Dublin set

Don't see it if You expect Bway scenery; you'll be miserable unless the plot builds; you dislike great singers; you expect Finian's Rainbow

Slow, Raunchy, Disappointing, Great acting, Great singing

See it if you love James Joyce, great singing and some Irish dancing with better second act than first

Don't see it if you expect an edgy approach to an unconventional writer; this is a very so so musical

Disappointing, Uneven, Unfocused, Poorly constructed, Great singing

See it if You want to hear some pretty songs. Bashor is incredibly talented & in a league of her own. She's too good for this material.

Don't see it if It's poorly constructed, there are a few great moments (Thanks to Bashor). Is more about a selfish alcoholic than "the greatest love story"

Cliched, Irish stereotypes, Ambitious, Great singing

See it if For Bashor. Beautiful voice. The best part of this. To support new musicals. You don't mind an unfocused, clichéd book. Tried to do too much

Don't see it if I wanted a larger cast, and more focus on what was so special about NORA. She could have been any long-suffering partner of a famous writer.

Uneven, Patchy, Good music, Disappointing, Entertaining

See it if Good music. Basher is outstanding! So is Dobbs. Great staging. Some great songs. Story is disjointed. Needs work.

Don't see it if Bogart is too affected/over-the-top/flamboyant. Distracting. Too many love songs where the chemistry doesn't convey love. Protest too much

Slow, Disappointing, Great acting, Great singing

See it if All of the actors were exceptionally talented. Might be enjoyable for a fan of James Joyce. Inspired me to read Ulysses for the first time.

Don't see it if I didn't find the story to be all that engaging. You can't really change a biography, so maybe this particular one was better left unsung.
