Set in Indiana in the early 1820s, 'Honestly Abe' explores rarely told stories of Abraham Lincoln before his years as president. Based on true events, Honestly Abe focuses on Lincoln’s high school years and his evolving relationships with his family and friends. The future president is portrayed as a teenage prankster, a dedicated student and as a dreamer who longs for a life beyond his family’s farm.
