Set in 2003, If We Kiss follows Charlie, a high school junior who’s never been kissed and isn’t particularly interested—until a classmate named Kevin changes everything. Their awkward encounter sparks feelings Charlie never expected, just as her best friend Tess begins falling for the same boy. When their parents’ lives start to intertwine, the situation grows even more complicated. The play explores the sweet, confusing territory of first love, family, and identity.

The production is staged by The MAP Theater, a company known for developing new works that blend humor and emotional insight.
