A solo play reflecting on family memories tied to a home lost to wildfire.
Set in the aftermath of the 2025 Palisades fires, 860 centers on the loss of Billy Crystal's longtime family home. Through personal stories tied to the address that gives the play its title, Crystal reflects on family life, friendships, career milestones, and the memories attached to a home occupied for more than four decades. The one-person play examines loss, resilience, and the role of humor during periods of upheaval.
The production is written and performed by Billy Crystal, whose Broadway credits include the Tony Award-winning Mr. Saturday Night and the acclaimed solo show 700 Sundays. Direction is by Scott Ellis (Take Me Out, Tootsie, She Loves Me), a multi-time Tony Award nominee known for his work on Broadway and with the Roundabout Theatre Company.
Presented as a limited Broadway engagement at the Imperial Theatre, the production features Crystal alone on stage, recounting events from his personal and professional life through a series of autobiographical stories connected to the home he lost in the California wildfires.
