See it if I saw the understudy for Lear and was impressed. When he became confused his voice was scared but not quiet so I could still hear him.
Don't see it if The costumes were odd and had no theme. The coat on a coat looked strange. Important lines were rushed causing confusion.
See it if You're open to more introductory/stripped down versions of the Bard's work.
Don't see it if You're looking for flashy production values. The minimal staging and thoughtful, modernised costumes highlight the actors and the text
See it if If you like all the Bards work. Good sound and lighting.
Don't see it if To much disparity in the acting, some good some horrible. Gets slow at times.
See it if I could decipher about half of the actor playing Lear's words. He kept forgetting his lines which were constantly called out from the wings.
Don't see it if The best part was intermission which gave me an opportunity to run out of the theater. Skip it!
See it if you try to see every Shakespeare production staged in NYC; you like seeing smaller theatre companies & dedicated actors tackle classic texts
Don't see it if you want a consistently high-quality production with uniformly strong performances, direction, and pacing that will hold your attention
See it if You're willing to take some less suited performances for some people who are very well suited for Shakespeare

Don't see it if Pre-start music was too loud and invasive. Show is more a reading than a play. No set or scenery. Characters amble on and off stage. Read more
