Little Island at Pier 55 presents a dynamic summer season of over 110 live performances spanning music, theater, dance, opera, and interdisciplinary works. Set against the backdrop of the Hudson River, the season features a wide range of artists and productions, from contemporary concerts and experimental theater to large-scale operatic performances and intimate storytelling events.
Highlights include The Counterfeit Opera, No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin, The Gospel at Colonus, The Tune Up, Radiolab Live, Arthur Russell: The Platform on the Ocean, Seven Scenes, and Galas.
