From the show:
Join Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy in The Great Room -- an old, wood-paneled ballroom --for this interactive, family-friendly event. Celebrate how the girls grow into unique and fiery women with Marmee guiding the way! Expect audience sing-alongs, holiday treats, and an a whole lot of feel-good fun for all ages.
See it if you’d like to revisit some of the high points of the novel “Little Women” in an effectively environmental setting.
Don't see it if you’ve had enough “Little Women” for the moment.
See it if you love the book or have never read it. This delightful dramatization engaged an audience of adults and children. Nice sing-a-long carols.
Don't see it if your willing suspension of disbelief cannot stretch to the many offstage characters. Only Marmie and her four daughters appear on stage.
See it if If you’d like an over-acted Christmas-oriented version of Louisa May Alcott’s classic with sing-along Christmas carols.
Don't see it if You prefer realistic characterizations rather than melodrama. Too long (nearly 2 hours w/ no intermission) & too much.
Also I love Little Women but this was just not believable.
See it if you enjoy a holiday themed version of the classic tightly focusing on the sisters performed well.
Don't see it if you mind that some scenes in the classic can't be fully explored because of the lack of non female characters.
See it if Family oriented Christmas presentation of the classic Little Women including some audience interaction as well. A bit slow at times.
Don't see it if You're not a fan of independent Productions. Enthusiastic actors however I felt it could have been cut about 15 minutes or so.
See it if Enjoy adaptations of “Little Women”, family-friendly, interactive, sweet, interesting staging. Marmee and Meg were excellent. Jo was great!
Don't see it if Dislike small, independent productions. Like to be anonymous in the back (audience is small and the actors make eye contact).
See it if You want to see an all-female cast bring classic characters to life
Don't see it if You aren’t a fan of feminist stories with characters who fit every type of personality
See it if You like a playful and fresh take on an old classic. Little details that were added make a huge impact.
Don't see it if you don’t like children and interaction with the actors.
See it if Saw this show with a bunch of kids in the audience and watching their thrill made the experience that much more delightful!
Don't see it if you're not into feminist works, devised theater, or indie theater companies
See it if you love heart-warming stories, strong women, and an immersive theatre experience. The kids in the audience especially loved it!
Don't see it if you despise holiday cheer and this timeless story.
