About the Show

A musical revue of new songs about ageing, change, and life from Maltby and Shire.

This musical revue navigates themes of ageing, memory, love, family, and the everyday quirks of life’s later chapters through an evening of interconnected songs. Drawing on decades of collaboration, the work presents vignettes about long-ago romance, ambitions past and present, relationships with grandchildren, lost keys, and the ongoing rhythm of human experience.

Presented Off-Broadway at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater from late February through early April 2026, the revue completes a loose trilogy of song collections by Maltby and Shire that began with their earlier anthologies Starting Here, Starting Now and Closer Than Ever.
