Absorbing, Great acting, Profound, Entertaining, Thought-provoking

See it if You want an intimate production of Miss Julie. Male lead is a real up and comer, the ladies were lovely. A real pleasure.

Don't see it if You can't do a 4th floor walk up theatre. You you're looking for a musical.

Ambitious, Refreshing, Great costumes, set and lighting, Well staged, Disappointing

See it if You're up for a literally earthy Miss Julie, well conceived, costumed and lit, and can deal with its attractive young actors mostly emoting.

Don't see it if You don't like your Strindberg condensed or adapted Read more

Absorbing, Great acting, Great staging, Edgy, Great costumes

See it if You want to see what happens when the lady of the house becomes involved with her valet. You want to see an intense performance.

Don't see it if You don't want to see a play that gets a bit crazy due to the lady of the house and her intimate relationship with her valet. Read more

Intense, Thought-provoking, Great writing, Great acting, Profound

See it if theatre history, 19th Century naturalist/expressionist drama, A. Strindberg, and frank, real portrayal of misogyny/class wars intrigue you

Don't see it if you will compare adapted play to 2014 movie, cringe at unrestrained blasphemy, sexuality, misogyny, stereotyping class, race, or nationality

Absorbing, Great writing, Relevant, Intelligent, Multi leveled

See it if Nicely directed absorbing adaptation of play w/performers who completely hold your attention. 1 wild night=destruction.C if u want dif angle

Don't see it if Lead actress over acts throughout which can work your nerves-nonetheless, she is interesting. Saw no reason for cutting of Count's role.

Absorbing, Great acting, Great staging

See it if You wanna see a slick production that smooths the text out immensely.

Don't see it if You're looking for an unbiased look at sexual dynamics. You're ashmatic (the stage is mostly a very cool pit of dirt, but it gets kicked up) Read more

Intense, Slow, Disappointing

See it if you like explorations of the class system and how it affects love/relationships.

Don't see it if I found it a bit repetitive and long and maybe overacted and predictable
