Sitcom-ish, Uneven acting, Dated

See it if you're looking for a small three-hander by Neil Simon, with a few amusing one-liners & characters that grow on you, performed on a nice set.

Don't see it if you're looking for a professional show; Whole thing feels amateurish and worn out. Also be aware of audio descriptions & captions on stage. Read more

Unpolished, Endearing, Talky, Funny, Dated

See it if you're a Simon completist; rarely done comedy, bc it's NOT top tier. Predictable: dtr reunites w/dad. Gd acting. Captions;descrptns ea scene

Don't see it if you dislike "lovable" rogue dads. Herb left bc wife didn't laugh at his jokes. Yikes! Dated material/mores. W/Simon, always some gr lines.
