This new musical of biblical proportions features Gary Busey as…God. (Note: Wednesdays Gary will not perform. Instead, the role of God will be played by Charles West.) More…
From the show:
Before they were enemies, they were co-workers. Jesus and Lucifer never saw eye-to-eye, but when an extreme case of creative differences gets the best of them, all hell breaks loose…literally. ONLY HUMAN is the new musical of biblical proportions with a heavenly cast led by Gary Busey as…God. With kick-ass pop rock tunes and corporate attire, it’s a sinfully good time that you can’t help but leave feeling #blessed.
See it if u want to see some young, gifted singers giving their all in an otherwise ridiculous, pointless, trite, unoriginal "origin story" of Man.
Don't see it if you are expecting an inventive parody of religion, humanity, the modern workplace... or anything.
See it if You enjoy light musicals performed by a young cast. Great voices and strong choreography bring this take on major religious characters alive
Don't see it if You are offended by making light of religious figures or you expect to hear Busey sing - he’s there and acts but has a restrained role.
See it if You're curious to see Gary Busey in a musical. You want a satire of Heaven inspired by The Office. You want a cast with great voices.
Don't see it if You want sharp satire:more cute than skewering. You want memorable music:sung well tho forgettable. You want GB in a star role:only featured.
See it if Aside from a couple of really good voices there is NO reason to see this unless of course you’re a Gary Busey fan.
Don't see it if If you can avoid it there are so many worthwhile productions to support.
See it if You are a fan of Gary Bussy. If you like alternative representations of heaven and campy comedy.
Don't see it if If you are offended bu alternative representations of God, Jesus snd heaven. If you prefer traditional funny comedies.
See it if you like silly high concept shows & are expecting a fluffy show. Great singing by all but Busey. Not bad music. Was better than I expected
Don't see it if If you want to see it go right away. It is closing early. Needs work but is I'm glad I saw it.
See it if you'e a Busey fan; will enjoy watching some very talented young singers/dancers/actors perform; like musicals.Don't mind rough edges.
Don't see it if you only like polished musicals, are extremely religious OR, know nothing about Christian beliefs..(Lots of it is a parody.)
See it if God and his angels are creating earth. Lucifer and Mary Magdalene are in a power struggle. Jesus is a pot smoker. Gary Busey is plastic.
Don't see it if Not sure what the point of this was. Lucifer wasn't really a bad guy. Not sure.
See it if So bummed that I found out that this is closing WAY early- in a few days- after just 20 days. It was SO entertaining. “Mary Magdalene” is an
Don't see it if An amazing singer and actress. “Lucifer” was well-casted and sung well. “Jesus” had an innocence about him, even though I could see where
See it if You're a huge Gary Busey fan even though he's barely in it. When he's off stage the show is pretty interminable.
Don't see it if You want to see something intentionally funny. This is boring and repetitive. Plus it's closed.
See it if Looking for light comedy and do not have too high expectations about Harry Busey. He was on stage and this is only what's really matter
Don't see it if Like monumental staging, dislike musical, and never giving a chance to the young actors with beautiful voices and not so good acting skills
See it if The only good thing about the show is the singing, even the few notes by God, aka Gary Busey, show potential, but the rest is disastrous.
Don't see it if Oscar nominee Gary Busey seems to be in his on world on stage. That is sorta fun for the first half hour but then it turns uncomfortable.
See it if Everyone sings, dances, and acts their hearts out. Gary Busey is Gary Buseying at varsity levels (though he only barely sings) & having fun.
Don't see it if Sadly, the play just isn't very good. See it if "Gary Busey is God" is a description that intrigues you, but don't expect a modern classic.
See it if You’re looking for a musical with some future potential, some jokes and songs that work, some not so much; Gary Busey in the cast is ....
Don't see it if .... A bit of a gimmick to get you in the door, maybe forgivable to help workshop this cute but not fully realized production.
See it if you want to see a talented, energetic, young cast sing and dance their way through a creative variation of the Biblical creation story.
Don't see it if you're easily offended by comedic religious spoofs or you're expecting a production with an absorbing plot and more than minimal staging.
See it if You enjoy light entertainment, decent singing by a young cast but mediocre songs. Hard to come up with positives
Don't see it if You want an interesting story and good music. Maybe Gary Busey is the draw but he was the worst part of the show. His acting was awful.
See it if You go cause you want to see Gary Busey, however the rest of the cast surprises you with great singing and fun light dancing.
Don't see it if The play/music is in need of serious re-writes. Many songs were boring, the one-liners trite. Needs more camp, if they are going that way.
See it if You want to see talented performers try really hard at a hopelessly bad script and score; if you need to see Gary Busey
Don't see it if You need literally any creativity in the music of a musical; if you don't like jokes that sound like they were written by mid-aged white men
See it if Are wanting a fun/silly musical. You’re not looking to be challenged by the material. Good voices (except Busey’s). You’re a Gary Busey fan
Don't see it if You want something thought provoking. You are religious and don’t find humor in a portrayal of an imperfect God.
See it if you like clever plays about human existence with a clever musical score also seeing Gary Busey playing a confused absent mind God was a hoot
Don't see it if You get easily offended by stories where God is personified with religion existence, heaven and hell are mocked & you're not a Busey fan
