A new play recalling a time when we were young—as individuals, as a nation, as a democratic system.

From the wild frontier to Ancient Greece to childhood memories, this play explores countless origin myths in an intimate portrait of a complicated sibling relationship. Inspired by Sophocles’ Antigone, artist Annie Saunders sets out on an autobiographical quest using recreations of recorded conversations with her outlaw brother. Inside this ever-changing space, they face one another at their most primal.
