Entertaining, Sweet, Great dancing, Better for children

See it if You want to enjoy a beautiful well done Christmas show and tickle the kid in you. Great production values and flawless synchronized dancing,

Don't see it if This show is a lot more geared for children than adults as opposed to their Spring Spectacular which is for all audiences.

Family-friendly, Traditional, Fluffy, Dated, Cliched

See it if you've never seen it. It's cheesy, silly & barely updated in 75 yrs, but it's a holiday tradition & worth it just for the famous kick-line.

Don't see it if you're going to take it seriously. This is pure child-wonderment fluff. You know what you're getting: If you don't want it, don't see it.

Riveting, Great dancing, Cliched, Fluffy, Entertaining

See it if Show is built around the Rockettes & they never disappoint or bore (despite a sameness in the choreo) Overall digital enhancement stunning

Don't see it if Ok. ok - its a little cheesy & vanilla & definitely not politically correct enough but it captures the holiday spirit as well as the secular

Delightful, Entertaining, Enchanting, Ambitious

See it if You want to bring the youngsters or if you missed it for a few years. Best bit is the 3D Santa Claus flying to N.Y.C, and the fav. sites

Don't see it if wonder if projectionists will replace scenic designers. R.C. is huge. Something has to be lost in some seats. Program (inc.cast) a must.

The New York Times

For a previous production

"Obviously, seasonal cheer floods 'Christmas Spectacular:' It coats every second of the production...This is a show for Broadway fans who miss the Babylonian scale of the form in its heyday—including a satisfyingly large, finger-snapping orchestra...While the show integrates high-tech innovations...its appeal remains delightfully human. Even in tight unison, the Rockettes are not a machine but a single organism constantly shifting and recombining its constituent elements."

"'The Radio City Christmas Spectacular' returns in all its glory...The show closely resembles last year's top-notch production with some slight modifications that only enhance the extravaganza. The iconic Rockettes remain supreme with their eye-high kicks, razor-sharp precision and synchronized choreography...But the show is more spectacle than story, with the Rockettes as its most valuable players...Kudos to the dancers and singers who add an extra sparkle this year."

"A curative that could not be more needed right now. And its stunning stars, as always, deliver the goods. Those would, of course, be the 36 Rockettes who, through their military-precise hoofing, kicking, and goodwill knock out the blues and propel us into the Technicolor universe of eternal Yuletide happiness...They just work, just like the 'Christmas Spectacular' just works—a model of mechanical, at times seemingly scientific, approach to mainstream entertainment."

"From the moment the show starts off with the fabulous orchestra and singing usherettes, you are transported to a magical wonderland. The adorable Rockettes prance in as reindeer ushering in Santa and you are a child once again...The elaborate sets, the array of costumes, and the dazzling lights are sensational, and the impressive projections are thrilling...'Christmas Spectacular' is a holiday card of all New York is, sealed with high kicks and glamour."

“It is first and foremost spectacular, driven by the amazing unison dancing of the Rockettes themselves, but hugely abetted by the stunning hydraulics system and dazzling projections...Unapologetically schmaltzy and sentimental...The sheer virtuosity of all involved elevates it above mere treacle...Branam has pulled together a daunting number of elements and collaborators to put together an extravaganza that can hold its head up in the tradition of Rockettes’ legendary holiday-season shows."
