See it if you like teen oriented plots and strong young actors close up and very personal. It held my attention and credulity but faltered at the end.
Don't see it if You're not interested in teen angst & you want a clear message about men who like underage girls. Script needs work, but has a strong core.
See it if U want to encourage teens to engage in theater. Subjects include body issues, low self esteem, disengaged parents and men who prey on girls
Don't see it if You want deep character development. The characters are pretty much stock, some serious situations resolve to easily.
See it if you want to see a play addressing teen angst, issues that affect teenage girls in a well written uneven play with unresolved ending
Don't see it if The play address a multitude of potential teen girl issues to the point of cliche and doesn't stay focused. Ending is ambiguous.
See it if You're interested in issues facing female teenagers or dysfunctional families.
Don't see it if mediocre acting bothers you.
See it if The acting was very good.
Don't see it if The subject was deep. It might both some people
See it if you enjoy black box theater that makes you think about complicated issues; if you're interested in adolescence and the inner lives of teens
Don't see it if you expect a tightly constructed plot (lags in the middle, but gets exciting at the end); if you're triggered by inappropriate relationships
See it if I think this story of troubled teens, substance abuse, self-image and family problems may resonate with teens ....
Don't see it if But it's a bit too "after-school special" or "very special Family Ties" for theater goers old enough to know what those references are.
See it if you're interested in the issues of teenage girls, you don't mind a slow pace with some cliches and some over the top acting.
