About the Show

An original comedy, thriller, adventure musical about gender, inclusivity, and a giant Moth.

Scouts tells the original story of the Brother and Sister Scouts, rival troops in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, competing for Troop of the Year at the annual Summer Jamboree. Suddenly, Scoutmaster Pete goes missing in the woods, looking and searching for the mysterious and deadly Mothman.

Alex, a rebellious Sister Scout, vows to venture into the unknown. Travis, a loyal Brother Scout, follows his best friend in the woods along with the rest of the Brothers and Sisters...chaos ensues.

Recommended 12+ for strong language, scary situations, and thematic elements.

See it if you want to be engrossed for 2.5 hours in a campy musical comedy with wonderful original songs and a lot of heart.

See it if You are a fan of young people having fun telling a camp story. The singing and music are great and you just have to smile.

Don't see it if You want a story with depth. It kind of lost me in its silliness but holds the audience with the music. It’s okay but not too memorable.

See it if you care to see an enthusiastic young cast with some talent in a new musical with a positive message. Some good voices.

Don't see it if you expect a polished production. It would be greatly improved by judiciously shortening it's 2 1/2 hr length by about 30 minutes.

Don't see it if ...NO memorable lyrics here. At 2h 30m, the show would benefit from some trimming. Energetic & fun tho.
