Great singing, Entertaining, Delightful

See it if the thought of seeing the gang from Sesame Street warms your heart.

Don't see it if awkward staging bugs you or if you're not a fan of yelling kids.

Heart-warming, Nostalgic, Entertaining, Delightful

See it if You're a product of the Sesame Street generation. Seeing these characters IRL is very special. There was one BIG YELLOW OMISSION.

Don't see it if You're not a kid person. It's a show for them. Just like an episode of SS - vignettes, life lessons, songs. Read more

“What detracts from the show is that no one seems to have given parents and caretakers the heads up that this is a show for kids – not toddlers...There was a plot involving the only human in the cast, but it was pretty much lost on the kids who only wanted production numbers with the characters they recognized.”

"My children found it mildly enjoyable...Rather than create something special or memorable, the creators settled for a rehash of the same puppet designs and character voices. The kids deserve better."

There should have been more ways to distinguish between the live stage show and the much-beloved TV series….Perhaps some singalongs? …If “Sesame Street the Musical” is not the theatrical experience it could have been, it seems clear that Jonathan Rockefeller.. understands that it will be for many attendees the first live theater of their lives…. That may be why there are so many references to theater in the show.
