See it if You want to see the gold standard for designing a set with a limited budget. It’s reminiscent of Chicago strorefront in a great way.

Don't see it if Show is intense but too long. There’s some super emotional parts that just last a bit too long.

See it if You're looking for an intense off-off Broadway experience.

Don't see it if You value your hearing and don't want an overwhelming extrasensory experience.

Also During the last fifteen minutes or so of this show, the stage is lit only by strobe-type lights, and there's a constant deafening static sound effect. I have no sensitivities to light or sound whatsoever, but I ended up having to shut my eyes and cover my ears for the bulk of that part. There's a difference between giving your audience a sensory experience and actively inflicting pain on your audience, and this show falls squarely in the latter category.

I sort of feel bad giving such a bad score to a show that starts so strong and features a phenomenal one-woman performance, but the ending truly made this the worst experience I've ever had in a theatre.

See it if you like well-written deep character studies, exploration of psychological impact of isolation and pressure.

Don't see it if You are sensitive to loud sound or intense lighting effects. Agree with other reviewers that they are very intense. Had to cover my ears.

See it if you're interested in space exploration, one-woman shows, complicated sets, explorations of how humanity survives through tech and travel.

Don't see it if you have sensory issues/avoid flashing lights/loud noises/smoke effects, you prefer large casts, you're not interested in space exploration

See it if If you enjoy outer space and psychological journeys. This play is about a woman who fights to keep her composure as an astronaut.

Don't see it if You're not a fan of one person plays and prefer a clear story path. Much of the story is about drifting in space and grasping for hope.

See it if You enjoy sci-fi and existential themes.

Don't see it if You are sensitive to very loud noises and flashing lights.

See it if you want to watch a woman's descent into insanity. If you're interested in examining isolation and loneliness.

Don't see it if you have any sensory issues whatsoever. There are multiple periods of prolonged strobe accompanied by seat-shakingly loud dissonant sound.

Also The script is solid, the acting is good, the set design is really compelling, but I had an impossible time watching the show in the last 45 minutes. The sound & lighting were so incredibly overwhelming. I spent large periods of the show covering my eyes & ears to prevent myself from vomiting or fainting or both. I had multiple sensory-induced panic attacks. This review is mostly to warn people. You will be pushed to the limit. If you can handle it more power to you. But there's a fine line between wanting to push your audience & torturing them. I felt tortured. It felt unreasonable & unnecessary for the strobe/noise to go on for as long as it did & as many times as it did . Half as long & you communicate the same thing & don't torture your audience. If you find yourself overwhelmed by light & sound, avoid this one. If you don't think you have sensory issues, this show might make you discover that you do.... Read more Read less

See it if you're one for character focused shows with ambition: Erin Treadway commands the intricate set for all 100 minutes

Don't see it if you need some "change of pace" to stay interested in a show. Aside from a few minor characters, one person/one location is all you get!

Also Where the writing started to lack (I would've loved a little more concrete backstory on Molly Jennis), Erin's performance really redeemed it for me. In terms of bringing a weighty concept to life, this show definitely succeeds!... Read more Read less

See it if The commentary about the funding and future of the space program was profound. The struggle with daily isolation was moving.

Don't see it if You are looking for a light fluffy show. Also don’t go if you don’t like one character shows.

See it if you ever wanted to be an astronaut

See it if You enjoy three-dimensional theatre that brings the audience into the high stake atmosphere and given circumstances of the play’s characters

Don't see it if You don’t enjoy being thrust into a high anxiety producing atmosphere.

See it if You like one woman's tour de force. It is a stellar performance. Great tech.Amazing what they did in a small space! if you like space!!!

Don't see it if Loud noises disturb you. There are many. if you are looking for a light comedy night, this is not it. It's INTENSE.It's a one person show.

Also I admit, I was skeptical going in. Not a great fan of outer space stories. This was STUPENDOUS!!! Erin Treadway is brilliant. I was completely impressed with the technical aspects. They did unbelievable things in a small space. The audience was completely silent. We were all completely engaged in the story. My heart did not stop pounding all night. Don't see it if Don't enjoy one-person plays and refuse to suspend realities of actual space travel.

See it if You like to be entertained with science fiction.

Don't see it if You get bored easily with the same sets in the same character

See it if The staging and acting was incredibly original and riveting. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Also loved the intimate theatre. Must see.

Don't see it if Don’t be put off by it bring a one person show - the actress commands the stage and it’s a fast 100 minutes

See it if you love scifi and exploring the unknown

Don't see it if you cant deal with too much noise

See it if You are easily amused by poop jokes. You can easily suspend disbelief. You like flashing lights and dry ice (I did)

Don't see it if You are expecting a convincing depiction of an astronaut or of space travel rather than an anti-astronaut...
