Literally Alive presents a children's musical inspired by the well-known folk tale, reset in Revolutionary War America. Recommended for ages 3 and up.
Two lost soldiers stumble upon a village while searching for food and shelter. Unfortunately, the villagers aren't willing to share with these weary men until the soldiers begin to make their favorite meal: Stone Soup. This classic story, told with mirth and music, makes viewers realize that anything is possible if we all work together. To enhance that message of community, the audience is asked to bring canned goods, which will be donated to a local soup kitchen.
