Stupid F*cking Bird stays true to the poignant essence of Chekhov's "The Seagull." It humorously delves into themes like unreciprocated affection, artistic disillusionment, and the absurd letdowns of life. Aaron Posner's script breaks free from Chekhov's traditional realism by breaking the fourth wall with direct interactions, musical interludes, dance routines, existential contemplations, and a generous dose of profanity.

See it if You want laughs and you like a quirky show with moments of show within a show. Small theater. Got teared up by the Sorn character.

Bit long, Moving original songs, Smart directing, Decent acting, Clever writing & chekov adaptation

See it if Magic in a barebones black box. Talented Actor-musicians. The elder gentleman holds power in his stillness. Breaking 4th wall a lot. Funny!

Don't see it if 2.5hrs 1 breal. I watched the opening night. 2nd act feels tiring at times, cuz some duet (lacks chem) is not well established in act 1
