About the Show

The 'The Golden Girls' parody with puppets returns for The Final Farewell.

An evening of cheesecake, laughter, Jazzercise, shoulder pads, sex, and the elegant art of the quick-witted put down. Devoted fans and first-timers alike will experience the classic TV series on stage, including Sophia's get-rich-quick schemes, Rose's St. Olaf tales, Blanche's insatiable hunt for men, and Dorothy's daily struggle to keep her roommates in check while fending off her pesky ex-husband once and for all.

All characters are portrayed by 'Avenue Q'-style puppets, with the puppeteers visible. The puppets were built by Rockefeller Productions ('Winnie the Pooh').

The show returned to New York in April for its 'final farewell' run, which features a new script.

See it if You're a fan of the show. Actors playing Dorothy and Blanche were great. Blending new jokes into old ones taken straight from the show.

Don't see it if Show drags a little -- 30 minute episode stretched into a play. Puppeteers slightly distracting from the puppets at times.
