Absorbing, Great writing, Intelligent, Relevant, Resonant

See it if If you like plays that focus on contemporary issues and complicated relationships. If you like good writing. Honest exploration of emotions

Don't see it if If you are looking for a big production with singing dancing and spectacular staging this is not for you. But I enjoyed this immensely. Read more

Ambitious, Good acting, An angxty soap opera, Twist ending underwritten, Disappointing

See it if ... you like reminiscences with POV from the funeral. Estranged daughter tells her very troubled life story. Ending Twilight Zone-ish.

Don't see it if ... you don't want to see a play in need of a dramaturgical re-write. Why this title? It's not about apathy, and there are no answers.

We take for granted fine naturalistic acting; this off off bdway production shows why it's harder to pull off than you think

See it if fairly moving 1st act at funeral where daughter deals w loss of dysfunct'l mother; mixed w humor; Emilie Gubler/lead has bright future

Don't see it if arbitrary LGBT love story; 2nd act bizarre; most actors over or under-act, frankly painful at times to watch

Intelligent, Great writing, Absorbing

See it if One of the deepest and most thoughtful works I’ve seen on OOB. Intense and eye opening. I cried and barely cry

Don't see it if You don’t like big twists or if you don’t like longer plays in a smaller theater

Deep, Engaging, Great dialogue

See it if The intense and layered dialogue is what makes a play a play, and this play GREAT. Yes there’s physical dynamics, but the heart is the words

Don't see it if You don’t like conversational plays - Lgbtqc themes
