About the Show

In this dark new solo musical set in New York City, a disillusioned and lonely young woman spirals down into a world of drugs and prostitution.

After two failed marriages, a sister's betrayal, and a broken childhood, Danielle has all but given up on her dreams of stardom. Derailed by self-destructive choices, addiction, and the need to survive at any cost, she finds herself at a breaking point where she seeks to find meaning in her life and, ultimately, salvation. For mature audiences only.

Disappointing, Not failure but low aim is the crime, and this weil/brecht type song cycle by a down and out streetwalker is no crime. ms tucker is too healthy and wholesome looking for the part and her voice lacks grit. amy winehouse would've nailed this.

See it if You would like to see and hear an interesting failure.

Don't see it if You have no patience for something worthwhile that falls short of the mark.

See it if I felt that this musical production is at an early stage, that it needs more work. It has the potential to be much better.
