The Heights Players presents a new staging of Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Neil Simon's drama, about a cabaret singer newly out of rehab for alcoholism.

After ten weeks of intensive therapy at a rehab clinic, a failed singer named Evy Meara returns to her New York apartment determined to restart and rebuild her life. Everything seems to be going great for her at first, but she slowly (or not so slowly) falls back into her old lifestyle, and her friends and family begin to realize that Evy is not as rehabilitated as they had hoped.

Great acting, Funny, Entertaining

See it if You want to see a Neil Simon play that is different from his usual light hearted plays; this play is a drama with comic overtones.

Don't see it if You are uncomfortable with plays about alcoholics. Read more
