Great singing, Overrated, Fluffy, Ambitious

See it if With a good set and singers, this one misses the mark of what could be a big time production.

Don't see it if Weak direction hurts this show. With reworking this could be really good.

Relevant, Ambitious, Entertaining, Great staging, Great singing

See it if you would enjoy great voices backed by the ten piece orchestra with characters in wonderful costumes on an impressive set in a small theater

Don't see it if you expect a full story on Quasimodo. This is a new book, music and lyrics, not the previous musical. You do not like operatic voices.

Colorful costumes, Functional, well designed set, Hunchback's story mostly avoided, Writing, acting, singing styles of 19th century, Everyone can sing

See it if 2 support developing work, know someone in cast, want 2 hear trained voices deliver mostly vowels, 2 C Esmerelda be most important character

Don't see it if want 2 C major action onstage rather than narrated by minor character, 2 C songs developed 2 carry plot along, 2 C show about Quasimodo

Overrated, Excruciating, Awful book, Misguided staging, Great singing

See it if you want to see some incredible voices do their thing with solid lyrics and solid, if staid, orchestration

Don't see it if you need a book that is written well and does not degenerate into a confused mess Read more

Has potential, Uneven, Great singing, Entertaining, Ambitious

See it if you can ignore the flaws and appreciate some great performances. Incredible voices. Still a work in progress but I enjoyed it.

Don't see it if you need something polished and perfected. There is a lot of goodness in this show but it made professional performances seem amateurish

Excruciating, Slow, Disappointing, Dated, Ambitious

See it if You want to see a production that is faithful to the source material. Enjoy old-fashioned operettas.

Don't see it if you dislike old-fashioned music like G&S. Dislike shows where there is a great deal of telling without showing. Read more
