About the show

An interactive new musical based on the popular hit TV series.

It’s a typical morning at Scranton’s third largest paper company until, for no logical reason, a documentary crew begins filming the lives of the employees of Dunder Mifflin. Step into Dunder Mifflin in this immersive parody experience and “work” with all your favorite officemates.

The Pop Break

"Tackling an 'Office' musical with unfamiliar faces is no easy task, but the gang at The Theater Center, NYC pulled it off flawlessly in this love letter to the show...I can honestly say every single one of the performers wow’ed the crowd...My one hope was that they would dive a little bit more into the things that made Michael more endearing to us but the pace of the show did not allow for it...It was the right call...I’ll say this a must see for any fan of 'The Office.'" Absorbing, Funny, Great acting, Entertaining, Clever

See it if you enjoyed the series.

Don't see it if you do not find parodies amusing.

Great writing, Hilarious, Dizzying, Chaotic, Ridiculous

See it if you're a superfan of The Office who wants to relive some of your favorite series moments, all packed into a wildly funny couple of hours.

Don't see it if You aren't a fan of The Office. You're looking for something even remotely serious.

Also I think it's very hard to take anything (a TV show, movie, etc.) that'... Read more Read less

Funny, Quirky, Romantic, Hilarious, Entertaining

See it if You are a big fan of The Office. The parody show is funny and worth it. It included bits of all the greatest hits you would expect.

Don't see it if You are looking for a cohesive story or don’t like actors playing multiple roles. Or if you didn’t watch much of The Office series.

Clever, Funny, Entertaining

See it if You're an Office (TV) Fan. Talented cast captures the characters/spirit of the TV show well and many episodes are reflected. Loved Dwight!

Don't see it if you're expecting a "Broadway" production. And if you're not a fan of the show, most jokes and portrayals will be lost on you.

Funny, Quirky, Clever, Great acting, Hilarious

See it if You want to take a trip down memory lane and laugh at some of the most sweet & classic moments from "The Office."

Don't see it if You never watched the American version of the show or will be annoyed by no real plot or sub-par singing.

Entertaining, Indulgent

See it if You like musicals or are a fan of the American version of the show. Not having seen it on TV I didn't get the references - neither did most.

Don't see it if You like traditional musicals that tell a story. Some good performances though.

Disappointing, Great acting, Fluffy, Funny, Entertaining

See it if you want to see the Office on stage. The same guy plays Andy and Jim which is sad because I wanted them to interact.

Don't see it if you have high expectations. Michael Scott is really great but it gets a bit old and they can't do certain parts of the show on stage.

Confusing, Entertaining

See it if You are a HUGE The Office fan. Otherwise you can take or leave it.

Don't see it if You don’t like offensive language - this might be unexpected for some patrons.

Banal, Fluffy, Overrated, Boring

See it if you want to see a poorly done version of the beloved show. Not good. Bizarre casting choices-Michael is female. Some funny moments.

Don't see it if you expecting a parody on par with Game of Thrones, Friends or Sex in the City. This fell short on every level.

Also I was so disappointed by this production. There were some well acted m... Read more Read less

Don't see it if You've never seen The Office or if you're a die hard fan that will be bothered by the caricature feel of some of the characters.

Disappointing, Banal

See it if It’s not a parody. It’s just people reciting a list of traits / things that happened in the office. Like “I am obsessed with beets.”

Don't see it if You’re trusting the reviews above. It’s a tourist trap, we walked out. It’s clearly not written by fans of the show.

Also I know, you’re thinking “but I REALLY love the office, maybe I should ... Read more Read less
