Great acting, Great singing, Quirky, Entertaining, Absorbing

See it if you like 'old timey' musicals about a real life historical figure. Beth Malone has remarkable energy and the whole cast really delights!

Don't see it if you are expecting a modern take on re-telling of Brown's story. The production is a bit long and some facts seemed mashed up or glossed over

Masterful, Great staging, Delightful, Great singing, Entertaining

See it if You want to see Beth Malone in a firecracker performance! Seeing this caliber show in a small theater is special. The costumes are gorgeous!

Don't see it if You don’t want the opportunity to see a rare Meredith Wilson gem performed by a top notch cast! Off, off broadway it may be but far from!!!

Relevant, Great singing, Great acting, Entertaining, Delightful

See it if Very well done rewrite of the original. Great lead acting and singing. Lots of dancing for such a small stage space. Worth seeing twice.

Don't see it if You do not like the old classic musicals brought back to life in a remarkable, relevant, fun and enthusiastic fashion.

Entertaining, Refreshing, Great singing, Delightful

See it if you love an updated classic. Also, just for Beth Malone's masterful performance.

Don't see it if you dislike classic musicals, but even then you should probably see it.

"NOT WORTH THE TRIP: Neither a new musical nor a revival, this odd revisal is an unwieldy, plot-heavy mess."

"Meticulously transformed into Elizabeth Warren….Some of this activist Molly reportedly hews closer to the real Molly Brown - a Molly of her age for our age. But for all the gut renovation, the surface of 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown' remains an old fashioned musical."

"The show offers a truly dynamite central performance by the fiery Beth Malone, some first-rate choreography by director Kathleen Marshall and a tuneful-enough score to create a diverting entertainment."

"The new book devotes so much time to dialogue scenes that the show often gives the impression of being a play with songs instead of a traditional musical…Lots of glowing ore to mine…but…too much plotting, an excess of obvious wokeness, and a heaviness where ebullience is required."
