Quirky, Thought-provoking, Great writing, Great singing, Ambitious

See it if you are a fan of Dave Malloy, you like twists on old fairytales, love puppets, and fun songs

Thought-provoking, Great writing, Great staging, Great singing, Great acting

See it if You like Dave Malloy and off beat musicals with superb singing and acting. Absolutely stunning musicianship from all!

Don't see it if You want a fun, old fashioned musical. This is a fairly unusual piece, and while I found the score haunting, it may not be for everyone.

Great singing, Quirky, Enchanting, Delightful, Absorbing

See it if new Dave Malloy musical w 3 strangers telling stories of pandemic lockdown touching on mental illness/ isolation, well acted, nice staging

Don't see it if You want lighter fluff- this has dream-like, lynchian fantasy element of 3 little pigs tale but hits on deep themes some may find depressing

Experimental, Magical realism, Quirky, Great singing, Clever

See it if You want a showcase of Malloy's delightful score with a light but deft touch of storytelling that threads together 3 pandemic experiences.

Don't see it if You don't like stories that are told/sung to the audience, or if going stir crazy during the pandemic is too soon to poke at. Read more

Big bad wolf of heartbreak and loneliness

See it if Heart wrenching tale of three little souls going through break ups during the pandemic lock downs. Loneliness is knocking at their doors.

Don't see it if Little experimental, no one major plot, pandemic, breakups, loneliness aren't your thing. 1 hour 45 minutes; no intermission. Read more

Thought-provoking, Great orchestrations, Resonant, Great acting, Great singing

See it if You love musicals with a dose of magical realism. The ensemble is small and they all shine.

Don't see it if You want a larger cast and more traditional musical.
