This musical classic is a celebration of those unsung heroes of the Broadway musical: the chorus dancers–those valiant, underpaid, highly trained performers who live in the background of the limelight. More…
Seventeen dancers compete for a spot in the chorus line of a Broadway show, and the drama unfolds as they perform dazzling dance numbers and reveal personal stories through heartfelt songs.
See it if Iconic musical is given a first rate production even with Gallery's minimal resources. Actors playing Paul, Sheila & Diana shine Ensemble A+
Don't see it if Musicians overpower singers at times - some weak voices including Cassie (what she couldn"t do is sing) but high energy & slick staging win
See it if Great Production, Great Dancing. One of the best at Gallery. Audience so responsive. Lighting perfect. Cast of 24 so good.
Don't see it if At a few spots the music dominated the singing (very early performance) More seats needed.

See it if you want to enjoy a top-notch, off-off Broadway production of this historic musical: best I’ve seen with a wonderful cast true to original.
Don't see it if you do not like good singing and dancing by talented, young actors in an intimate setting. Some moments of the orchestra loud over voices.
See it if you never saw it before or if you are looking for thoughtful entertainment about the background of performers and performing.
Don't see it if you are not into dancing and singing. And certainly not if you are not interested in the lives of performers.
See it if you like emotional, character-driven pieces with great dancing and deep meaning. If you’ve ever questioned your life’s direction, see this.
Don't see it if you prefer a traditional narrative structure or need elaborate set pieces. Scenic design is minimal; this is all about character.
See it if If you have fond memories of the original, this won't disappoint. If you've never seen it, this should make you a fan. Bravo Gallery Players
Don't see it if you don't care for revivals. Give this one a chance.
Also Inspired use of a small playing area with a large cast. Many of the pe... Read more Read less
See it if You love A Chorus Line. You've never seen the singular sensation. The preview I saw was a little uneven but it's a great show.
Don't see it if Well, if you've seen it before and didn't love it, this probably won't be the production that changes your mind. It's not groundbreaking.
Also I love the show and I may go back to see it at the end of the run.
See it if you are a fan of the original--this does a good job of capturing the spirit. Performances are mostly good especially group numbers
Don't see it if you just aren't a fan of the work. If you expect Broadway caliber. If you don't go to Brooklyn. It's a schlep.
See it if you are familiar with the story line and want to see this on stage. It was a good production. The Story is a bit dated.
Don't see it if the theater did not improve on the sound levels. The musicians over powered the non-microphone actors. Very hard to hear.
Also I enjoyed it, but the fact that every cast member had an issue was jus... Read more Read less

See it if You want a good energetic story about show business. Great dancing...singing...worth a trip to Brooklyn...
Don't see it if You want splashy sets and childish storylines...
See it if you want a refresher on this Pulitzer worthy musical. Several wonderful performances, especially Paul and Morales. [You'll feel something.]
Don't see it if musicals, or plays about life in the theatre are not your interest.
See it if You want to see a great production of a popular musical and support a wonderful community theater group
Don't see it if You are unwilling to travel to Brooklyn
See it if Exuberant and powerful production of an iconic show. Attractive and distinctive cast. Dazzlingly and energetic choreography. First rate!
Don't see it if you want a conventional musical. You may not be able to get the cast recording/other productions out of your head. Some lengthy monologues.
See it if If you love ACL it’s no harm to give it a try
Don't see it if You’re expecting a highly professional broadway production. It’s only a tiny theatre, a classroom you may say
Also ACL is one of my favorite shows so I’d take whatever I got, and I do e... Read more Read less
See it if You are looking for some great dancing numbers and a musical classic.
Don't see it if Are expecting some amazing singing. The music drowned the singers even though their voices were good.
See it if you have a chance, the whole show is well casted and the music is the best part. Gallery Players never disappoint.
Don't see it if you need a big production, its minimal theater at it's best.
See it if A top notch musical
Don't see it if Don’t want to travel to Brooklyn
See it if This is a faithful, almost flawless reproduction of the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic. Stellar dancing and intense acting.
Don't see it if You want a fluffy night of theater. You don't love music, drama, and dancing.

See it if The bones & gristle of a classic are for U. The small theater puts U IN the rehearsal studio-lets U feel the pathos in the dancers' stories
Don't see it if U need BIG BWAY. That glitzy finale doesn't play quite the same, but the theater's intimacy serves the play well. Some voices are muffled.
Also AND it's performed with a live band.
See it if you're a fan of the musical (or have never seen it!) - the show is justifiably revered, and this is a lovely, if simple, production of it.
Don't see it if you are looking for a professional caliber, consistent cast, are uncomfortable with intimate stagings, or only like broadway-budget prods.
See it if You want to see a classic show staged. Gallery players put it on very well. Dancing & acting were very good. Show did not feel dated.
Don't see it if You expect flawless perfection. While the performance of One didn't quite fit on the stage, the costumes were excellent & effect was good.
Also I love the references to Robert Goulet in this show (and it's part of ... Read more Read less

Don't see it if You're not into musicals, or you are expecting a Broadway experience. This is a pretty low key production but still pretty fantastic IMO.
